Membership Brochure
Benefits of Membership As you are aware, networking is a powerful tool whereby our members are strategically connected to hear about job opportunities in many of the top businesses in corporate Bahamas. Not only are we the first to hear of first class jobs first hand, but many businesses contact our Association when seeking to employ Executive/Administrative Assistants where they are certain to obtain applications at the required level, as oppose to advertising in the media and receiving an inordinate amount of applications and having to shortlist applicants. Membership in IAAP affords membership discounts for seminars, conferences both locally and internationally and again the opportunity to network with other professionals globally. As a member of Bahamas Chapter IAAP one is also afforded the opportunity to work with students within our Student Chapters in the high schools which the association sponsors etc. Employers recognize the value one brings to the establishment having affiliated oneself with a professional entity. Also, by indicating that you are affiliated with a professional organization says that you see yourself as a professional and would like to be treated as such. Many members advise that they came into the association with no real expectations, save for been noted a member on one’s Resume, but after serving and working on Committees, realized phenomenal growth in oneself and found themselves serving in capacities that normally would be out of their comfort zone. Equally, Bosses also see this growth, which can result in promotions etc. Who Qualifies For Professional Membership?
